The Comets never let Delaware Valley get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Thursday. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Adrianna Condrad and Brianna Bustos made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Condrad tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Bustos pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Condrad went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Bustos went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave Bustos a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avary Brister, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Eva Kane, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Scranton fell victim to West Scranton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Invaders. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Scranton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Angelo, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Abington Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
Everything went Abington Heights' way against Scranton when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Abington Heights made off with an 18-2 win. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
