McQueen lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being LaQuaya Tillman, who put up eight points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Tillman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaleigh Fred, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 12 points and six steals.
Bishop Manogue now has a winning record of 7-6. As for McQueen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Manogue will take on Spanish Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Bishop Manogue has won 15 straight at home dating back to last season, while Spanish Springs won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
