The Cedar Ridge Raiders lost to the Manor Mustangs back in January, but the Cedar Ridge Raiders didn't allow the Manor Mustangs the same satisfaction on Friday. Cedar Ridge took down the Mustangs 66-52. The victory was all the more spectacular given Cedar Ridge's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Mustangs are ranked 69th).
It was another big night for Peyton Dulin, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sam Fielding, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.
Cedar Ridge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Vipers at 7:00 p.m. Vandegrift and the Raiders are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Manor, they will head out on the road to take on the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vista Ridge has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
