The Cheyenne Wells Tigers will head out to take on the Eads Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheyenne Wells is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Cheyenne Wells came up short against Springfield and fell 9-4. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Bryson Hyle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ethen Garay, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Eads put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Holly.

Eads got a massive performance out of Jayson Bletzacker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave Bletzacker a new career-high. Spencer Uhland was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Eads always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holly only posted an OBP of .263.

Eads pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cheyenne Wells, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cheyenne Wells has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .538. However, it's not like Eads struggles in that department as they've averaged .588. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Cheyenne Wells couldn't quite get it done against Eads in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 12-8. Can Cheyenne Wells avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
