Three weeks. Three rankings. Three No. 1 teams.
Archbishop Mitty was No. 1 in the first MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings presented by the Army National Guard, but two weeks and two losses later, Mitty finds itself No. 20. Marymount came next, holding on to the top spot briefly before losing to No. 15 Santa Margarita.
This week, it's Reagan as the new No. 1. Since losing to 23-3 O'Connor, the Rattlers have blanked eight-straight opponents, outscoring them by a combined 450-244 margin. Only once during the streak has an opponent reached 20 points in a single set.
Reagan has eight different players averaging at least one kill per set and senior libero
Lydia Niebla is averaging an impressive 5 .7 digs per set.

No. 2 Dorman stretched its win streak to 29 matches over two seasons and has lost just one set in a dozen matches this season.
With 11 future D1 players, Assumption moves to No. 3 with a 10-0 start. Assumption swept the Avon (Ind.) Tournament over the weekend, losing just one set. No. 4 'Iolani ran its win streak to 25 matches over two seasons, and unbeaten Walton rounds out the Top 5 having won its last 20 matches dating back to last season.
Marist was the week's biggest mover, vaulting from No. 20 to No. 7. The Redhawks beat previously-ranked No. 2 Minooka to open the season 3-0. Minooka settles in at No. 9 this week.
Despite a pair of losses, Mater Dei is ranked No. 10 this week. Though the Monarchs lost to No. 4 'Iolani and No. 11 Oak Ridge, they own victories over No. 15 Santa Margarita and No. 20 Archbishop Mitty.
Oak Ridge had its five-match winning streak put on hold by Hurricane Harvey. The War Eagles hope to get back into action Friday against A&M Consolidated (College Station, Texas)
Speaking of winning streaks, No. 14 Novi has run its two-year win streak to 49. And No. 13 Mother McAuley has won 35 in a row.
This week's featured showdown will put Assumption against new No. 25 and crosstown rival Mercy. The two unbeaten Kentucky powers square off Tuesday.
In addition to Mercy, new to the Top 25 this week is Oviedo.
