Keira Bierdemann made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that she hit this season.
