The Silver Creek Raptors put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Niwot 80-32 on the road. With Silver Creek ahead 45-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Gabe Selby was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Zander Storz was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Despite the loss, Niwot still got an impressive performance from Brighton Langenegger, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jake Gardner, who scored 7 points.
Silver Creek has yet to lose a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.67 points. As for Niwot, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Silver Creek will face off against Grand Junction Central at TBD on Thursday. Grand Junction Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Niwot, they will be playing at home against Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Riverdale Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
