Intrinsic's game  last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They walked away with  an   8-4  win over the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks. That four run margin sets a new team best for Intrinsic this season.
  Joel Diaz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Diaz has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Diaz was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing five bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Damian Agudo was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Brandon Loredo, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Intrinsic's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Steinmetz College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Intrinsic will take on Senn at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Senn is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season. As for Steinmetz College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chicago Mathematics & Science at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
