Winder-Barrow has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Heritage Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Winder-Barrow's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
Even though Mountain View scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, Winder-Barrow still came out on top. Winder-Barrow snuck past Mountain View with a 75-70 win.
Meanwhile, Heritage earned a 61-50 win over Upson-Lee on Tuesday.
Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kirk Seeley led the charge by scoring 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Seeley has scored at least 25% of Heritage's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Armond Smith, who scored 15 points.
Winder-Barrow pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Winder-Barrow strolled past Heritage in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-42. Will Winder-Barrow repeat their success, or does Heritage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
