The Clint Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Riverside, falling 66-36. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clint in their matchups with Riverside: they've now lost six in a row.
Riverside was led to victory by Marcus Jauregui and Luis Rodriguez. Jauregui scored 14 points, while Rodriguez scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Carlos D Rojas was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Clint bumped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clint will take on Mountain View at TBD on Friday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anthony at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anthony is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
