Florence typically has all the answers at home, but  on Wednesday Valley Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Gophers 3-0. The  win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won eight  matchups in a row.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16,  25-20.
 Valley Christian found their leader in freshman  Kaydence Hirsch, who  had 12  digs and three  aces. Those 12  digs set a new season-high mark for  Hirsch.  Peyton Berry also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 30-10. As for Florence, their loss  ended  an  eight-match streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 27-11.
As of now, neither Valley Christian nor the Gophers have any future games scheduled.
