Dimmitt came out on top against Friona on Tuesday thanks in part to Kaden Carpio's efforts. Carpio was unstoppable, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Dimmitt: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Carpio and Dimmitt will welcome Shallowater at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
