Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Huntington Huntsmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the  10-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
  Dylan Skaggs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs.
Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Huntington, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeastern will head out to  challenge Clay  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Southeastern will need to watch out since Clay has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three contests. As for Huntington, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Unioto  at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
