Basketball Recap: Hancock Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

If Glascock County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hancock Central, they should've done a better job of containing Josiah Ingram. The Hancock Central Bulldogs took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 74-33 win over the Glascock County Panthers thanks in part to Ingram, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 15 points and five boards. Ingram is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Hancock Central's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Glascock County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock Central will face off against Johnson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.1 points per game this season. As for Glascock County, they will square off against Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilkinson County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Glascock County surely won't give up without a fight.
