Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Putnam). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Dugger Union Bulldogs 72-22. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-15.

South Putnam found their leader in sophomore Isaac Garner, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and three steals. Cam Bozell was another key player, putting up nine points.

South Putnam's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Dugger Union, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

South Putnam will venture away from home to face off against Monrovia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monrovia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season. As for Dugger Union, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-49 loss against Lighthouse Christian Academy on the 28th.
