The Arabia Mountain Rams won the last time they faced the Chamblee Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Arabia Mountain came out on top against Chamblee by a score of 62-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Arabia Mountain.
Arabia Mountain got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Julian Shanks out in front who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Ward, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Chamblee still got an impressive performance from Ramon McDaniel, Jr., who scored 22 points. McDaniel, Jr. hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Eli Starr was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Arabia Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Chamblee, they bumped their record down to 7-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Arabia Mountain will face off against Tucker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tucker will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Chamblee, they will be playing at home against Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chamblee in Georgia (Decatur is ranked 55th, while Chamblee is ranked 318th).
