After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gunderson, Mt. Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Overfelt Royals 18-3. Considering the Cardinals have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mt. Pleasant got a massive performance out of Leah Gonzales, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Kimberly Solorio was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
