They strolled past Greene County with points to spare, taking the game 62-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Morgan County also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Jaden Young was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kymora Smith, who scored 8 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
The victory got Morgan County back to even at 3-3. As for Greene County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Morgan County will head out on the road to face off against Oconee County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Oconee County is ranked 205th, while Morgan County is ranked 187th).
