The Waterford Wildcats got the win against the Alexander Spartans on Monday by a conclusive 11-3. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Waterford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Alexander, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterford will challenge Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
