Issaquah came into Saturday's game looking for another win against North Creek, but Cris Bonicillo wouldn't allow it. The North Creek Jaguars slipped by the Issaquah Eagles 66-65 on Saturday thanks in part to Bonicillo, who went 11-for-19 en route to 29 points and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Paolo Bonicillo was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals. What's more, he also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for North Creek and bumps their season record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points over those games. As for Issaquah, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

North Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-57 victory against Woodinville on the 11th. As for Issaquah, they have also already played their next contest, an 86-56 win against Eastlake on the 11th.
