Caleb Leisenring Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Salem's Caleb Leisenring, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Leisenring made two total tackles. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Salem is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Salem's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Leisenring's next contest is against Mountain View on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Jamare Lovelace Delivers Best Effort of Season
Sadly, Jamare Lovelace posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Quitman over Mayflower on Friday. Lovelace picked up 108 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.
Quitman now has a losing record at 3-4. Lovelace and Quitman will head out to challenge Atkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

For the year, Martin has averaged 29.3 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to nine.
