Jayden Ferguson was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Pickens is 5-1 when Ferguson posts two or more runs, but 4-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Woody, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Pickens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Seneca waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Centurions, sneaking past 5-3.
Pickens' record is now 9-11. As for Seneca, their record now sits at 13-7.
