When it comes to explaining why Concordia lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Alexander Jones. Despite the final result, he threw for 333 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Jones is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last nine games he's played. Daniel Wolfmueller was another key contributor, gaining 169 total yards and three touchdowns.
Holy Trinity Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Concordia, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Holy Trinity Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Concordia, they will head out on the road to face off against Live Oak Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Live Oak Classical will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
