Basketball Recap: First State Military Academy Takes a Loss

First State Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 74-29 defeat at the hands of the Early College Hornets. The Bulldogs lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-26 score last time.

First State Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Early College, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First State Military Academy will venture away from home to face off against Newark Charter School at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Early College, they will challenge Lake Forest at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
