Baseball Game Preview: West Forsyth Wolverines vs. North Forsyth Raiders

The West Forsyth Wolverines will head out to square off against the North Forsyth Raiders at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. West Forsyth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

West Forsyth took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against North Forsyth, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. West Forsyth came out on top in a nail-biter against North Forsyth on Monday, sneaking past 7-6.

West Forsyth let Sanders Dyer and Charlie Delp run wild. Dyer scored two runs and stole Three bases., while Delp scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Dyer a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Colton Sweat, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

West Forsyth has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
