Despite the defeat, Florence Christian saw an underclassman step up: Emerson Poston dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Poston has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.
Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Florence Christian, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
