Phillips strolled past Perspectives Leadership/Technology with points to spare, taking the game 71-55. That's another feather in the cap for Phillips, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Phillips was led to victory by Amari Edwards and Lawrence Horton. Edwards scored 23 points along with six steals, while Horton scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael White, Jr, who scored four points along with eight assists and five steals.
Phillips has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
