After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ashland-Greenwood, Yutan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Boys Town Cowboys. That's more bragging rights for the Chieftains, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Yutan was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Emmy Tederman, who had five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Tederman wasn't the only good server: Yutan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Yutan's record is now 5-3. As for Boys Town, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Yutan and Boys Town will both be playing Brownell Talbot the next time they take the court. The Chieftains will head out to face the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cowboys will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
