Shadow Ridge waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Basic Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Loa Duarte made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Duarte was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
In other batting news, Shadow Ridge let Melia Aionaaka and Breanna Nielsen run wild. Aionaaka fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3, while Nielsen fired off three triples, four runs, and one RBI while going 4-for-4.
