They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions. Somerset Academy - Canyons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
American Heritage's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brendan Gerard, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Xander Gerard, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Somerset Academy - Canyons' loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for American Heritage, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Somerset Academy - Canyons does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Heritage, they will square off against North Broward Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.
