 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Patrick Henry's offense. They were dealt  a  34-0 defeat at the hands of Rural Retreat on Friday. The Rebels have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Holston and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13  points in those games. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Holston was taken down by Patrick Henry 35-7 in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cavaliers were down  28-7.
