Concord Academy extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Justice Alexander. The Concord Academy Eagles blew past the Coastal Christian Centurions 76-21 on Friday thanks in part to Alexander, who went 10 for 18 on her way to 29 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Smith, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played.
Concord Academy pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 54.2 points. As for Coastal Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Concord Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-33 victory against Myers Park on the 14th. Coastal Christian has also already played their next game, a 30-28 loss against Hickory Grove Christian on the 14th.
