West Springfield won the last time they faced Fairfax and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Lions. Considering the Spartans have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Fairfax, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Springfield will venture away from home to challenge Battlefield at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairfax, they will take on South County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
