It was another big night for Logan Shiels, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds for Britton Deerfield. The contest was Shiels' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Colin Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Milan and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Britton Deerfield, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Milan will head out on the road to face off against Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Britton Deerfield, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Morenci at 7:00 p.m. Morenci is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
