West Forsyth's defeat came about despite a quality game from Caman Chaplin, who rushed for 283 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Chaplin is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darell Paige, who gained 76 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Ardrey Kell put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Palisades 28-3. The win was nothing new for Ardrey Kell as they're now sitting on three straight.
Ardrey Kell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Ryland, who threw for 262 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Kirsch, who picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
West Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Ardrey Kell, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
