The Tamarac Bengals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 60-40 walloping at the hands of Cambridge. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Tamarac struggled afterwards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cambridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashley Moses, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Moses has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Claire Toleman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Tamarac has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Cambridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tamarac will take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cambridge, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th.
