The Canyon View Falcons are on the road again  on Thursday to play the Emery Spartans at 10:00  a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Canyon View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They put the hurt on Juab with a sharp  10-2 victory. Ten seems to be a good number for Canyon View as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Elli John made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   nine  hits (and not a single walk). John has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 13 consecutive pitching appearances. John was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Savanna Hutchings was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. She hasn't dropped below three  hits for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Gracie Burt, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Emery never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past American Leadership Academy 17-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Emery.
 The team  relied heavily on  Katelyn Nielson, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Rheagan Rhoten was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with four  RBI and a  double.
 Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Emery, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
