Clay County barely beat McCreary Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Raiders 11-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Clay County, bringing their record up to 14-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for McCreary Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clay County will host Lee County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for McCreary Central, they will take on Casey County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
