The Erie Red Devils were the  49-38 winner over the Uniontown Eagles when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Erie took a  38-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Uniontown on Thursday. Erie's defeat keeps them winless this season.
 Erie's lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Kaeleigh Daniels, who  scored 17 points along with 3  steals. Daniels scored a full 54.8% of Erie's points, the second time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexandra Pasquarelli, who  scored 10 points along with 8  rebounds and 3  blocks.
 Erie bumped their record down to 0-3 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Uniontown,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Erie is on the road again  on Friday and play against Humboldt. As for Uniontown, they will  square off against Crest on Friday.
