There's no place like home for the Westville Blackhawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over Washington Township. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Westville has posted since December 1, 2023.
Westville had a senior duo take command as Ishmael Kane scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals and Kaden Pepper dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kane has scored all season. Josh Wert was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Westville's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Washington Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Morgan Township the next time they take the court. Westville will head out to face Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Washington Township will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
