The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington 68-32 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.
It was another big night for Jade Massey, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Addison West was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Lynchburg-Clay has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Lynchburg-Clay will be playing in front of their home fans against McClain at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, they will head out on the road to take on Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
