Make it six blowout wins for the Ravenswood Red Devils this season. Everything went their way against Tyler on Thursday as Ravenswood made off with a 61-37 win. The victory was nothing new for Ravenswood as they're now sitting on four straight.
Hadleigh McGoskey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ravenswood's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Adams, who scored ten points.
Despite the defeat, Tyler saw an underclassman step up: Katie Grimm scored 13 points along with two steals. Grimm is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Braeden Wall was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Ravenswood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Tyler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ravenswood will square off against Wahama at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tyler, they will head out on the road to challenge Madonna at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Madonna is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
