Green Level took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wakefield Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
While Green Level won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-19.
Green Level found their leader in sophomore Madison Simmons, who had seven digs and two aces. Simmons is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Coming up, Green Level will face off against Hoggard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakefield, they will venture away from home to challenge Sanderson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
