While Eau Gallie put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Melbourne. Eau Gallie blew past Melbourne 10-0. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Aiden McMahon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Eau Gallie got a big performance out of Connor O'Keefe, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Carson Lietz was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Eau Gallie pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Melbourne, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Eau Gallie and Melbourne will both be playing Wheaton Academy the next time they take the field. Eau Gallie will host Wheaton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Melbourne will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
