Marion Gets a Boost from Jones in 38-7 Victory
Starting off the list is Marion's Timotheus Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win got Marion back to even at 4-4. Jones and Marion will head out to face off against Anderson on Friday.

Lafayette Jefferson picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keyen Crowder. Crowder turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 323 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards. Those 46 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
For the year, Crowder has thrown 28 touchdowns while averaging 247.8 passing yards per game.
