With a playoff game on the line, the Columbia Falls Wildcats rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 19-7 victory over Corvallis. The win was familiar territory for Columbia Falls who now have seven in a row.
Columbia Falls was led to victory by Jace Hill and Cody Schweikert. Hill picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Schweikert rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Columbia Falls' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.3 points per game. As for Corvallis, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
Columbia Falls is on the road again on Friday and play against Beaverhead County at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Beaverhead County will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Corvallis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
