Shorecrest Prep bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.
Shorecrest Prep was dealt a bruising 41-4 loss at the hands of Clearwater Central Catholic in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Shorecrest Prep was down 28-2.
