The Bulkeley Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Bulkeley suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Monday. They were beaten by Academy of Science and Innovation 74-30. Bulkeley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-13.
Even though Academy of Aerospace and Engineering has not done well against Capital Prep recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering managed a 56-51 victory over Capital Prep.
Bulkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Bulkeley took a serious blow against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 66-32. Can Bulkeley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
