Stony Point is a perfect 4-0 against Manor since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Stony Point barely beat Hutto the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Stony Point was the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Hutto on Tuesday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Sophia Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Stony Point got a big performance out of Ava Perlinger, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Grace Kaiser, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Manor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylie Staff, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Staff launched this season. Aubrey Guerrero was another, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Stony Point pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
Stony Point took their win against Manor in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 17-3. Does Stony Point have another victory up their sleeve, or will Manor turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
