The Junction City Dragons won the last time they faced the Harmony Grove Hornets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Junction City strolled past Harmony Grove with points to spare, taking the game 66-52.
Junction City was led to victory by Montra Hankton and Deontae James. Hankton scored 22 points along with four blocks, while James dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 assists. The game was Hankton's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Dovonte ?Woody? Grimes was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Junction City's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Harmony Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Junction City will square off against Woodlawn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. Harmony Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradley at 4:45 p.m. on December 27th.
